Chilley Farm is in the heart of the Pevensey Marshes which are a designated site of special scientific interest. All the land is in high level stewardship with Natural England and is farmed in such a way as to to enrich the habit for hundres of species of birds and animals.

We run an extensive farming system with no sprays or fertilizers having been used on the land in the last ten years.

The land is grazed through the summer by the sheep and cattle and we make all our own forage which the cattle are fed on while indoors during the winter.
